If you’re into Gainax anime, Things Change is probably beating you in the face with BB/Terra scenes that reek of KareKano, even down to the piano music.
I’m sure the crew were just fans of Gainax in general, considering all the FLCL references, too.
Okay so I was at Target and I saw this DC Nation thing and I wasn’t going to get it but then I saw THIS on the corner:
